It’s a shame but noodle has really suffered and has not recovered post Covid. Their decision not to reopen the dining room is a negative in so many ways but mainly that it impacts the quality of the food. Eating out of nonsustainable plastic and Styrofoam on their porch was a main detraction. Since you get all your food at once, that means you end up eating something cold. And the sheer amount of waste with everybody eating out of takeout containers makes us a restaurant I will not be coming back to you. Re-open your doors and become a regular restaurant again. Tonight we had sushi, fried wontons, and a build your own bowl. The sushi was very good. If this is been my first visit to noodles, it would’ve been my last and may well be my last. The wontons were tough and rubbery and of course cold. The build your bowl with peanut sauce had no flavor. What a disappointment. Finally I can’t say enough about the sheer amount of plastic and Styrofoam generated by not having the dining room open
I was in downtown Decatur for an appointment and wanted something to eat. I was just looking around on google maps and Noodle came up. I was planning to dine-in but when I arrived they were only doing takeout at this time. I ordered regardless because they had some outdoor seating available. I got vegetable spring rolls and chicken lo mein. Just wanted something classic. Everything was done pretty quickly within 15 minutes. Noodle, seems to be very popular on doordash and other apps because they were a lot of people picking up orders and stuff. My overall opinion of the food was underwhelming. The lo mein noodles were not very flavorful and the chicken were big tough cuts of white meat. The vegetables weren’t really uniform throughout and eating it out of a to go container was difficult. A plus is that you do get a lot of noodles probably enough for three people but still were very average. The spring rolls were the generic rolls that you could find at any asian restaurant. I spent aro
The food is delicious. I always order the Singapore Noodles Spicy. Comes with a serving of vegetables. I also love thier Crab Rangoon, which is prepared perfectly.
