The noodles were properly cooked, but the flavor was pretty basic and the soup was overly salty. The dry ramen was way too dry. The chicken leg was ok. Some part was juicy and some part was dry. Skin was pretty delicious. And I think the food was a little bit overpriced.
We got the chicken paitan and the spicy music ramen with the calamari to start. The calamari was crispy and fresh. Really good batter and a perfect size for 2. We loved both of our ramen orders. For a Saturday night, we barely had to wait. Joined the wait list at around 7:45 pm and were seated at the bar almost immediately. You get to watch the kitchen while seated at the bar. Each table and bar seat had a QR code where you can order. Saw the kitchen immediately work on our food and we were served quickly. Ended up with a $55 bill plus tax and tip. Proper SF pricing, but it was worth it.
Had the veggie ramen which was not very good, unfortunately. The ground soy meat gave the broth a weird gritty texture, making the dish almost akin to hamburger helper. Maybe the meat options are better, but for vegetarians or vegans, I would suggest going elsewhere. Way overpriced for what you get. Noodles were stuck together and there were few toppings.
