Big fan for years when they up on Navajo, but now I will not go back . there was no chicken in the grilled chicken salad. The antipasto salad. Is a joke. Do not order to go from them.
Very relaxing atmosphere, great food including gluten-free and vegan options, and wonderful service! Come check them out ???? Dietary restrictions: Good gluten-free and vegan options
Our family has been Nicolosi fans since they were in North Park. We followed each move until the current one. I was excited to see the location now easier to get to in Santee (than the previous) and the restaurant looks nice. Unfortunately the food didn't live up to our many, many, many experiences in the past at this family restaurant. Not sure if there are new cooks or what... Probably won't be back, at least we'll be taking a long break! It leaves a bad taste (haha) when you spend good money and expect to have delicious food. Except for the Sicilian pizza we didn't like any of the pasta dishes we got, they were completely bland and not up to Nicolosi's old standards. Perhaps it was a new location issues, either way at least based on this experience I think I'm going to be avoiding the restaurant.
