They were very busy for a Friday night! But, I will have to say that the young lady at the register handled her business professionally, speedy and was really nice! I got the Italian Beef Combo, French fries & a drink. I forgot to take a picture of the sandwich; but, this sandwich was so good and juicy! It was the perfect amount of meat to bread ratio, I had to eat it with a fork. It turned out that it was so huge for me, I couldn't even finish it all! But, it was worth every bite of deliciousness! All of the food that I saw them prepare look so good! The menu has a wide variety to choose from. They even have slots while one waits! You can also dine in. No complaints here! ???????????????? ???? on Cicero! Vegetarian options: The menu has so much that you could basically order the way you wanted! Something for everyone! To start, these are by far, the best fries I've had in Illinois, hot, fresh cut, with skin, and just the right amount of salt. Secondly, they hook you up with so much meat you gotta take a bit out just to eat your gyro sandwich. The flavor of the meat isn't the best I've had, but definitely top 3. Where it shines is how moist and tender each slice of meat is. The pita bread has the right texture and is strong enough to hold together under the weight of the meat, sauce, tomatoes, and onions. Speaking of onions, they do put on quite a bit, so you'll need some gum afterwards, but the onions are necessary to add the right amount of sharpness and a subtle sweet flavor. The only fault in the combo is the sauce. It could use a stronger cucumber flavor to boost the sandwich overall. If you're in the area and like gyros then I highly recommend you stop by and throw some business their way.

Nicky's have the best fast food by far in this area. Through the years and the Pandemic which was very challenging and even now, the employees at Nickey's are just the best. The food didn't change, meaning that the portion size or the taste didn't change. The taste is always the best, and they get your order right the first time. Also the prices on the menu are not over the top expensive it's affordable. And like I said the food is so good and they didn't compromise the service, the food choices, or the taste. Everything is the same great taste as always there Gyros, Polishes w/ Fries are wonderful, Hot Dog Special and the Fish w/ Fries are very good. I hope everyone appreciate how Nicky's Fast Restaurant didn't change on us in our area. Love this place and the employees. Parking: Plenty of parking and Easy to park.
