The Red Beans & Rice, a quintessential New Orleans dish, is another must-try. One of the star seafood dishes here is the Charbroiled Oysters, served with buttery, garlicky goodness. The best thing I like about this place was the R&B hits played while eating. The server was awesome and the eating was good. There were lots of seating inside and outside. I had a great Experience for my Birthday here. Kid-friendliness: A Family environment
This was my first stop on Friday afternoon. I was able to get a table quickly. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. I ordered right away because this was a quick trip. I had to get the ball rolling on what I came for lol. This is my 3rd time trying oysters I didn't care for it the 1st two times so I said hopefully 3x a charm and it was! I wouldn't order them again per say because oysters aren't my thing but they were the best I've had so far. The gumbo was great( not to hot, good seasoning and meaty) as well as the bread pudding( very moist and sweet and hot). The house punch was so good and cold esp on a hot day. I was happy to try 3 popular dishes here in once place so I was glad for that.
Oh boy! My Lyft driver told me about this place and I was FAR from disappointed. I had the gumbo, char-grilled Oysters, the Monday lunch specials (catfish & jambalaya, Red beans & rice w/Fried Chicken). Other folks in my party had the chicken wings. We enjoyed a Moscow and Bourbon Mule and the spiked lemonade. We ended it with bread pudding,,Deeeeelish!!! This was hands down the best meal I had.
