New China Restaurant

I've lived in Kenosha for awhile. The chinese restaurants that I've tried would start out strong with their food, then when they get a good customer base- they'd start slacking. The food wouldn't be as good as it was when you first went there. I've been going to New China since it opened. Never had a problem. The food is always delicious, not once have they sacrificed or downgraded their food, just to make a buck. Family owned business, they are very warm and down to earth. Best Singapore Mei Fun ever! The restaurant is small, isnt as updated as most people seem to care about, but if you ever visited other countries (or around kenosha), most of the best local food around are served in those spots. I mean, I came to eat not look at the wallpaper.

This place used to be great. Sadly not so much anymore... I ordered Sesame Chicken and while the sauce and broccoli were delicious, the chicken was not edible. All of it was tough and chewy. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the sweet and sour chicken was homemade and delicious. It seems the meat for some of their dishes are made fresh and others are frozen...
