Never had a true chicago deep dish besides Pizzeria Uno, so had to stop and try one visiting chicago. Lou Malnati's is located in the heart of napersville. The restaurant as well as the street outside are undergoing construction. But do not let that deter you. The pizza was very good, the service was good. They had signs up stating that they ship their pizzas anywhere. There is a rear entrance just for carryout pickup. Plenty of parking as well.
Visited late on a Saturday night and the restaurant was fairly busy, but had seats available. Service was great and staff was friendly. We ordered garlic bread and a medium deep dish, and that was more than plenty for 2 people. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. My first deep pizza in Chicago. The crust was overcooked, very hard when you eat on. The tomato sauce was delicious. Their salad portion is big. Good to share with friends. Service was friendly and fast.
