Mulate's | The Original Cajun Restaurant

My first time visiting this restaurant and the customer service was amazing from the time I called to see if seats were available to us walking inside and our waiter great great great customer service! I had the Alligator Bites as an appetizer and it was my first time having it grilled and blackened it was yummy and I highly recommend! Our entree wasn’t as good we had the catfish and fries as well as the red fish, mashed potatoes and green beans. Overall we had a great experience and the appetizer was good so I’m rating a 3.5 stars!

Got an appetizer of cornbread (delicious) and blackened chicken alfredo (just okay). Server was nice, and the live music was fun! However, we went with a large group for dinner and were seated right next to the band, and as a large group it made conversation pretty difficult.

We came in with a group of 14 and they were able to accommodate us without a problem. Our food and drinks came out quick, and everything tasted good. Honestly, this isn’t the best food for the price you will be paying. I expected better. BUT if you go during live music and if you have a great server like we did, it won’t matter because the experience will be worth it! They even have a dance floor, so we all got to dance to the live band that was performing! It was so fun. Gregg was our server and handled our party wonderfully. He was attentive, kind, quick, and pleasant! Thank you Gregg for taking care of us and putting up with our crazy family. We appreciate you!
