A little tough to decide if I should base the review on service or the food. I had the Southern burger. A good size, well seasoned patty topped with pimento cheese, bacon and fried green tomatoes. All on a sweet soft sourdough bun. It was packed with flavors that worked well with each other. The only draw back on the burger is they didn’t offer an option on the wellness. But the service. While our server was very friendly when we finally called her over to the table, they were very understaffed and we had to grab the servers attention for any additional needs. I also saw several people get up and leave after waiting 20-30 minutes for someone to come to their table. So, if you have time to waste and want a good burger with no drink refills… this may be the place for you.

Yum-o! Just fantastic! Portions are big. Sourdough bun toasted to perfection, juicy seasoned burger with very fresh tomatoes and lettuce. Beer battered fries were voted hands down by family our ultimate favs! Barge Root beer float was creamy and delicious. Our server was top not notch and just a real cool dude. Try the Mugshot ( three seasoned patties,Swiss and cheddar cheese, mustard and ketchup,six strips of bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion … with side of beer battered fries an onion ring and fried pickle)challenge… clean the entire plate in 12 minutes or less your burgers on them you win a t- shirt and bragging rights. My son, a 17 year old boy thought everyone could do it, he couldn’t even finish Garlic Parm Burger or all his fries. Great place, must try.

WOW!!!! We visited Mugshots for UAB's first football game at Protective Stadium. I have never been here so I figured, why not. Let me tell you, I'm so glad that we stopped in. We were seated fairly quickly and after making our final decisions on what burger we wanted to try, my son and I both ordered the Mac and Cheese burger. Yes, that is a bacon cheeseburger with Mac and cheese in between two, yeah, two giant grilled cheese sandwiches on Texas toast. It was huge, amazing and even the fries were delicious. This will be our go to place every time we go to a game. I'll see you this weekend ????
