Mr. Tequila Authentic Mexican Restaurant

Food and portion definitely not worth what I paid for. Will never order from there again!!!! The rice and bean portions on all three of my orders so sad, and they tasted and look as if they were out all day long. The enchiladas had no flavor and tasted as if it was reheated. Disgusting, please don't waste your money.

Just went to Mr. Tequilas tonight and it was one of the best, if not the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Absolutely gorgeous interior, very welcoming and kind aroma, wonderful staff. Etc. I have a daughter in a wheelchair full time and it was fully accessible and the staff moved the wheelchair for us. It’s the little things that make this place great. When we were seated we were greeted kindly by our waiter and got our drinks very quickly. Now for the main course, I got enchiladas and they were wonderful. Not only that but I asked for no sour cream but it had sour cream on it (no biggie I was just gonna scrape it off) but our kind waiter insisted on getting me a new one(s). The food was great, they have wonderful appetizers and a wide variety of food. As well as pretty good prices. Overall an amazing experience at Mr. Tequilas, amazing interior decor, service, food, and experience. I wish it was in my home town of Birmingham because I would most definitely go back. All love

Enjoyed our meals, had great service, and the decor inside is very cool. Margaritas were a solid A but watch out for the upcharges if you get better tequila. Our Margaritas (medium size) were nearly $20! I had the pollo azteca which was very tasty with the pineapple and other ingredients.
