Motor City Soul Food

I ordered the fried chicken wing dinner with a side of macaroni and cheese and dressing, also for dessert peach cobbler and everything was delicious! Food was prepared with cleanliness the burst of flavor was phenomenal probably the best macaroni and cheese I’ve had at any motor city me and my family will be returning again soon !

I ordered through door dash. I honestly don’t know where to start at. The chicken is literally pink, the Mac wasn’t good and the cornbread was dry and burnt, tasted like day old. Smh. This is literally just the most ridiculous meal I’ve eaten off doordash and tbh this is just unacceptable.

This is the second time the Redford location sold me terrible food! The first time I ordered smothered pork chops. Once I placed my order I was instructed to move ahead in the line to pay. Never again! I need to see what you’re selling me. Anyway, they went into the back to get the smothered pork chops. They were NOT smothered. They put some disgusting red sauce on the fried pork chops. They were old chops, tasteless and very tough, not tender as smothered pork chops should be. If you don’t have the item just say we’re out of that right now! Simple. Don’t sell me me bad old food. They don’t care about the quality of the food. They just want the money. I ended up giving my $30 meal to my dog Leila. On a positive note the sweet potatoes were good. Now, the second time I had the same experience. The food was old. The meatloaf was tough and hard. I won’t be going back. I cannot be the only customer who has experienced this. I’ll just drive to the Oak Park location. What a shame!
