Monk's Bar & Grill

My burger was good but have me indigestion later that night. Maybe it was just me, I'd go back for another try. The fries were very good and crispy

The food wasn’t all that great. We got the cheese curds and they were very oily and soggy. You could see the oil. The fry oil was probably not hot enough. The Cobb salad was ok. Carolina pulled pork sandwich wasn’t great. The pork was dry and tough. The kids Mac and cheese had to of been from a can. No flavor and heated in a microwave. The kids nachos, which is generic tortilla chips and a cup of cold cheese. Quite unappetizing. I added ground beef and had them heat up the cheese cup to make it at least liquid-ish to pour over the nachos but it didn’t even really pour then. The ground beef was bland, no favor. For sides we got their chips. They weren’t salted or seasoned, again was bland. Overall it was over priced for the quality. I would suggest you go elsewhere. The service was great though. We had an excellent waitress. Very nice and attentive but, didn’t hover.

For some reason I generally prefer the monks bar and grill up in Wisconsin Dells. However this one is a nice substitute without driving up to Wisconsin Dells. The burgers are good. The drinks are good. It's a sports bar so it has lots of TVs.
