MOM's

I have a hard time giving this place a great rating, but I'll rate them for what they are. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of place. Visited for the first time recently with my in-laws who live in the area and rave about MOM's. The atmosphere is very dark, which is to be expected for it being a former Mexican dance club or something. They could benefit from some upgraded lighting. The food came out pretty quick and was comparable to any other similar type of place. Prices were good. While he sounds like a nice guy, my in-laws went on and on about the kind, disheveled owner who they basically described as what I'd think of a homeless person... not exactly the type of person I normally want in charge of the cleanliness of where my meal is being prepared. I feel like I'd be horrified to see what goes on in the kitchen. This is really an excellent place to have breakfast. Service is far and beyond. The food is good and cheap.
