I was visiting the town and happened to randomly walk by. But it was a pleasant surprise as the food was authentic and good. I especially liked their kimchi stew, but the others were also good and the food presentation was also neat. Highly recommend.
The food was good except we found a longest hair stuck in between the meat. It could be a minor issue but we were so shocked that after explaining to the server, he just took away the meat with a napkin (with a hair hanging) and ask us to continue eating. Eventually we did ask for a exchange of the pot but the lost our appetite. To be fair the food was tasty and I like the presentation. Just can’t imagine how the hygiene situation in their back kitchen.
Atmosphere: 3 I love the industrial decor with the exposed brick and metal. The music is a bit loud though. I don't know what they use to clean, but the floors, tray, menu sign, and table were all sticky! It was pretty unpleasant. The floor was especially sticky. So much so that my shoe (slip on) nearly came off when going to the bathroom!! Portion: 5 Portion is more than enough. Love that the lunch special also comes with side dishes. The soup is huge with an abundance of dumplings. Flavors: 4 The dumpling soup broth is super flavorful and rich. It was delicious!! The dumplings however could be better. Most of them were broken, and the skin is a bit soft. The side dishes were ok... where's the kimchi?? Overall, it was a decent Korean restaurant, and I'm glad to have tried it. It's a short distance from my hotel. Great location!
