Misfits Saloon

I love dive bars, but to make it work you need to have some redeeming quality like unexpectedly good food, a fun crowd, or a killer jukebox. This place is just plain dingy and cold. Feels like somebody's garage more than a bar (seriously, I expected to see a tool box and a lawn mower parked in a corner). The menu is mostly burgers, and they were a greasy mess. Bartender was cool.

I wish I could rate lower because this place is filled with zeroes and rude people. Stopped in to the old Friskies to check it out and half way through 1 beer (which they don’t carry Busch Light??) my sister started getting harassed by a young drunk customer who the bartender seemed to know and continued to serve him after he was clearly wasted. Spilling beer down the front of himself and began berating her out of no where. We quickly removed ourselves and will not ever be going back, typical Anoka loser hangout with drunks and addicts running the place instead of the staff.

Down home, small feel. The regulars are fun and welcoming!
