Mint Hill Rock Store Bar B Que

In town to visit my Dad and went out to just grab a bite. I am a BBQ fan so was happy to notice it. Very clean and neat shop. Employees were very friendly and greeted me with a smile. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and some potatoe wedges. The portions were average. The pork was a bit dry but the vinegar sauce fixed that. Wedges were nice....seasoned right and cooked very well. Not the TOTL BBQ place I have ever eaten but really above par.

I really thought I would be getting something delicious. But not so true. The baked beans tasted like Van camps beans out of the can. And the potato salad tasted like it come from a factory made. And topped it of with dry meats. I'm pretty disappointed that the sides didn't taste homemade at all. I probably want be guve this place another try.

Today was me & My Husband first time eating here. We were out tasting differently locations to buy bbq for our upcoming event. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich & Coleslaw. It was outstanding finger licking Good. My Husband ordered the half rack of ribs with the sides and it was delicious. So we will be using them for our event. And thank you for such great southern hospitality.
