Mimi's Cafe

I’ve eaten here several times and have always ordered the Pain Perdu, so I know what it’s supposed to look like. Tonight I ordered delivery due to being sick, and this is the saddest Pain Perdu I’ve ever received. It still tasted good, but not worth the price I paid. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the pieces are much smaller than they usually are.

I've never been here before. I've been enjoying venturing out to new places and this was no exception. The service was really great and even though I was running about 50 minutes late, and still took my order and my food was out only a few minutes after the rest of the table. They had two different quiche's which I really liked. I think it's a good place for a quiet get together.

Well...it's gone down hill but they're trying! I've never seen staff juggle so much , so well. They only had two servers working on memorial day and the place was super busy. They managed to get our food and coffee out quickly and were way more attentive than I would have expected given the circumstances. Whomever worked memorial day deserves a raise. The food quality was just kind of a let down. But that didn't seem to be anyone's fault. More an ingredient issue.
