Milk Tea Cafe

Great little boba tea spot @ the Loop. I would come here sometimes to order their boba milk tea. This place can get really busy on Friday and weekend evenings. Their milk tea and boba taste okay. The tea flavors are average. They have a variety of choices though. I like their spicy ramen and some other hot snacks (ex. chicken on the stick) that they offer. The spicy ramen is good and the quality is restaurant-like. However, I dislike how the establishment still use plastic container for their serving of hot ramen. When you put hot liquid in a plastic container it can activate the plastic to release a chemical known as BPA; that chemical can cause adverse health effects from what I know. I hope they use some other type of bowl or container to serve hot ramen noodle soup in the future. Usually to-go order I get why they would use a plastic container to hold the soup but I was dined in and still served with a plastic bowl and spoon. Overall, good foods and decent drinks. I loved everything about this place and am disappointed in myself for not trying it sooner. My BF got the 1st listed ramen and the broth was mouthwatering. I tried the Thai tea which wasn’t too Thai teay, but the Mango milk tea was soooo freaking good. The wings came out and were visually questionable but tasted fine. The true star of our dinner though, was them cheese filled wontons!

Their milk tea is absolutely amazing! My favorites are the rose (which has rose petals mixed in) & jasmine flavors. The fried shrimp shumai is also very delicious. Restaurant decor is pretty & aesthetically pleasing.
