Amazing food and service! We were fortunate enough to have Danielle as a server. She was the best waitress we could have asked for. She went above and beyond to make our visit amazing. I will request her every time we come back! The food was second to none and great atmosphere. From start to finish it was an amazing time!
The food was not not good at all. I had the stuffed potato and crabs plate, which claimed it was stuffed with crab meat and not bread crumbs. However, that was not the case. It had more bread crumbs than crab meat. I took home a to go plate and went I warmed the stuffed potato, I found 2 long black hairs embedded inside the potato. I will never eat here again and recommend that no one that read this post not eat here either. I will speak with the manager and also notify the board of health.
Absolutely horrible! I don’t even understand how this place is still open. Anyone that has said this place is good is lying or clearly can’t taste. I was driving from Atlanta to Houston and decided to stop In Baton Rouge to get food , I was looking all over and reading reviews and settled on this place. What a horrible mistake that was. I should’ve known something was up when all the black people were just ordering fried fish. I on the other hand wanted to be different and ordered their special platter with everything; which was just a MESS ! I spoke to the manager who said they had a no refund policy; yeah I bet! you wouldn’t be able to keep the doors open with the amount of refunds you would have to give out for this sorry excuse of a restaurant! Do yourself a favor and go grab a Poboy or McDonald’s that’s what I should’ve done !
