Mickey's is the flavor of the near East Side of madison. I usually come here for fish fry, which is excellent but recently also had their Mickey's Burger which was perfect. On both occasions my dining companions have had the mac and cheese and loved it. The staff are friendly, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. They have a good selection of beer.
Stopped by at opening (9am on Sunday) for a Bloody Mary and eggs and potatoes. Breakfast was $6 and was excellent, as was the Bloody Mary ...
My band, "Venus de Mars and All The Pretty Horses" stopped by after our show at Willy St. Fair on recommendations by the WORT folks (the stage we performed on)... Really really lovely!! For sure, next time we're in town, I'll make a point if stopping by!! -Venus
