Great place, very traditional, great service. A little slow with the food going out from the kitchen, but great food! All the dishes are sharable. Don't skip desert. The best Tiramisu I've ever had. Very recommended.
Horrible! My husband and I went here a long time ago, back in 2005. We were an interracial couple (I'm black/white, he's white). When we got there we were seated and immediately given bread. But that's where the pleasantries stopped. We sat for 30 minutes watching all the waiters run by us, serving everyone around us... But us. And then to make matters worse, there were ppl that came in AFTER us that were served their drinks AND food before us (they were white of course). There were also primarily Spanish ppl that worked there at the time but I don't know what that's all about. So as I said, we weren't even served our drinks!! No one came to our table to take the drink order. I would put my hand up every now and then to try get someone's attention, but I was flat out ignored. After 30 minutes, we said "F this" and we got up to leave. As we were about to leave, there was an old Italian looking man at the door already. I believe he was a manager. He had the nerve to open the door for us
Gorgeous restaurant, lots of history, love all the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling. Probably the worst pizza I've ever had. Lasagne was good, I'd recommend ordering that. Service was very slow, and they weren't that busy. If you're hanging around Hollywood, and don't want to eat at a chain, you might consider Miceli's.
