Mi Familia Mexican Restaurant & More

When I arrive for lunch the restaurant was empty except for one table. I was promptly greeted and shown to a table. My drink order was taken. It was 25 minutes until the waiter came to take my order. Mind you only one other table in the restaurant was seated. The waiter had been to that table at least 6 time while I waited. The managers excuse was it’s been a busy day. It was 11:15 a.m. and only one other table in the place! Can’t tell you if the food is good or not. After the long wait and the horrible excuses from the manager, I didn’t want to find out how bad the kitchen staff would be.

We stopped in for a late dinner recently. The chips and salsa were good - pretty standard. The menu was huge and our waiter gave lots of recommendations. Our entrees were delicious, but we were disappointed with the significant upcharge from the menu prices when we checked out. Everyone was friendly.

We walked in at 9 pm on Friday night (their advertised close time), asking if we could be served. They were welcoming, had quick service, always asking if we liked what we were served, and made us feel like part of the family. Would definitely go back next time we are in the area visiting our daughter.
