Mezcal Restaurant

Food was ridiculously expensive! I ordered the mole, it was only a tiny thigh with a tiny scoop of rice for $22. The tortillas that came with the food were so hard… probably yesterdays tortillas. My husband ordered the tacos and they were flavorless, did not taste like asada meet, it tasted more like ground beef hamburger meat. We did grab a bunch of lollipops on the way out and they were better than the food. Overall, we will never go back again.

While visiting from Southern California we decided to have Mexican food and chose Mezcal. The atmosphere is wonderful, they have beautiful art on the walls and coming from the ceiling. There have two dining rooms and outdoor seating. They have a bar also. The food was okay. Many of the items on the menu I was not expecting to see like a salmon burger. If you are from Southern California you won’t see many of the options we are accustomed to like enchiladas with beans and rice, chili reaño, or fajitas. I had a margarita it was not that great. The staff is great very kind, welcoming and attentive.

Good Mexican food and cocktails with Mexican twists. We were here recently with friends and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. We showed up without reservation and interestingly a lot of tables were reserved and they could only accommodate us outside. That was the only thing that left the experience from getting great. Service was good and the server seemed to be interested in impressing the guests. I would try this place again and would go with a reservation to have a complete experience. I wish I took more pictures.
