Came on a Weds morning and ordered a summer breeze tea. Fairly busy and great service, amicable staff. Clean establishment with plenty of seating inside and outside. Really cool to see the owner build the space to complement that of the brick wall with rustic pipe book shelves, etc. Free 90 minute parking in city garage.
Very similar in consistency with the other Egghead Sando Cafes I have been to. So far, my favorite sandwich is The Chic. This time, I opted to have the Eggy. I wanted something light and warm. This is perfect for when you want something savory and smooth but not super filling. The crunch of the toasted French bread and the custard-like consistency of the Eggy was an excellent complement. To drink, I ordered the Black Sesame Milk. Perhaps it isn't popular, cuz I didn't see it on the printed menu, but I really enjoy this drink. The dining area is open and spacious and perfect for meeting a couple of friends to socialize over breakfast/brunch. 4.5/5.0
Liked this place, good all around. The scramble was great! The matcha strawberry was not sweet. The brown sugar hojicha was very sweet, and both were good. The breakfast burger was good for lunch, also don't forget the tater tots! They give you a good amount, so fill up your cargo pants and snack on them later.
