I got take out chicken and waffles from this location. Everything was delicious and I can tell it was just made! The chicken tenders were crispy and flavorful, not dry at all! The Belgian waffle is big and has a fluffy texture. I absolutely love the strawberry butter as well, it tastes like strawberry ice cream and I’ve never seen anything like it before!
I really love this location, I think it’s the best Metro Diner location in town. We had the basic two egg breakfast and both mine and my wife’s were perfect. The menu is packed with old standards and comfort food. They always have daily specials that have a little twist on the standard presentation or flavor. The staff here is great and the management is out on the floor taking care of business.
We visited today after Church. Rainy day, they were getting the tables turned over quickly. The food was hot and good. Our server Karen was great! She joked and talked with us like we were friends for years. Made for a great experience.
