Meso Modern Mediterranean

I had relatively high expectations for this restaurant after reading the reviews others had previously posted. Food wise, I won’t say anything in particular really stood out to be exceptional. Dishes had nice presentations and they all tasted good enough. I did like it that many of the dips/sauces were yogurt based, but still taste different enough to create that variation. Service was good. Ambience of the restaurant was good.

The place has a fantastic vibe to it, and sits right across the busy buzzing streets. The food was good, the pita and the chips were amazing. The half chicken and rice were on a sweeter note, making it not as authentic as pure Mediterranean. Completely a bit low on spice levels for sure and the rice was on a sweeter side which wasn’t expected. The lamb flat bread was good. Overall a good place with a vibe but disappointing with the food expectations.

Lovely restaurant and great service! The Octopus, Trio Dips, Crispy Lamb, Roasted Carrots and Cucumber Salad, Beef Moussaka and Lamb Shank were all very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive and friendly. One thing to note is that the restaurant will assert a non-standard surcharge to your bill which you have the option to ask them to remove.
