Visited on a Thursday night. We had reservations for 7:30. Our party of five was immediately seated. Small portion sizes for the price. Drinks were average. ???? I ordered the verde chicken enchiladas and I couldn't even cut them with the fork because the corn tortilla was so tough. Chicken flautas were aslo a bit dry. Our waitress came and started clearing the table before we were even done eating. I get that closing time was 9 pm, but it was just 8:30. I couldn't enjoy the experience because I felt like she was rushing us.
This was my first time at Mesero and it didn't disappoint! The food was great and the service was even better. They had gluten free items as well as vegetarian options so I was very happy. And the cheeky sign in the bathroom made me laugh!!
This is a nice Mexican place in legacy west. It has both indoor and patio seating. We had chicken fajitas and another chicken entree. The fajitas were a little different from what I’ve had other places. They tasted good but were a bit dry and did not have that slight smoky/grill taste. The other chicken entree had grits and a sauce that tasted nice. Pico and guacamole were nice. The chips and salsa were tasty too. The chips come in a cylindrical container and also had 3 types of salsa dip.
