Mellow Mushroom Columbia

We had a group of 4 for dinner. We came just after the dinner rush as most people were leaving. Our waitress Caitlin was great. Food and time was not. The calzones were good, but the steak and cheese was really heavy on the bell peppers and was the prevailing flavor. We had the pretzels with beer cheese. It was good, but cheese sauce was really thin. The Merry Prankster pizza was awesome and the star of the night. I had a Guinness on tap and it was not quite right. May have been the glass or tap. I would not recommend the Italian hoagie to anyone. I had the full sandwich and it was quite small, mostly bread, little dressing, tasted mostly of arugula. The amount of meat in whole sandwich was what should be in a half sandwich. It is worth another visit, but I will not stray from the pizza.

Hot!! AC in the upstairs bar was not keeping up. Love the food as always. The purple reign was awesome too.

Went here for dinner last night, and I have to say mellow mushroom never disappoints. The atmosphere is great, the people are warm and welcoming and the quality of ingredients is excellent. I am not a salad guy, take one look at me and you can tell I’m a meat, bread and cheese man. This will tell you how fresh and great the ingredients are, that I have to highlight the salads! Obviously the pizza and calzone was excellent as well. Amberley was so sweet, and handled our weird requests without hesitations. Try the Reece cookie, it’s worth it.
