Lunch in “The Vista” was a great treat after enjoying the “Soda City Market” yesterday. We decided to hit Pearlz as they open for lunch on Saturday only. We first had a dozen steamed oysters, but no picture as my camera was not fast enough. They were excellent. We then ordered a small basket of triggerfish bite and seafood gumbo that were great also. My love of oysters were next as we ordered a 1/2 dozen of grilled oysters, New Orleans style. I came out ahead on this one as my goup was full of oysters and I was still craving them. Bam bam were they good. We all finished with their famous stacked salad of shrimp, crab and veggies. Bam bam again. I had to get a box as we were out our limit of food. In addition, I have 2 pictures of Kevin, not our waiter, but the person that brought our food out. He was so pleasant and extremely accommodating for an eccentric guy like me!!! 3 stars, Kevin, and a rare double picture!!!
Great place to try out oysters, friendly staff and delish food. We started off with 1/2 dz char-broiled oysters , wow what a treat! Also had to try the raw blue point oysters on half shell, yummy even though they were a bit on the small side $30, ((save the tiny ones for the soup I'd say)) seafood gumbo YAH! House burger, And had to try out a TUnaTACOooo, although no complaints, server could of came more often , but she picked up the pace when it was time to pay for the bill. Go figure.
This place is amazing the atmosphere and people are great!! Our bartender Perri was so great she give great suggestions an believe me it was the best experience
