Great place for soul food in Harlem -make sure you come hungry! Their Mac and cheese is very decadent but probably the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my life! They got the best of both worlds in terms of baked Mac and cheese and gooey stove top Mac and cheese. The collards and chicken were also great. My husband got the meatloaf, sweet potato and onion rings which were also delicious.
Friendly service, homey atmosphere, delicious eats. Wonderfully light yet rich/eggy waffles (my favourite in the city) with strawberry butter. Their fried chicken, catfish and collard greens also great.
