McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks

Had a wonderful dinner experience with family. The swordfish was cooked perfectly and had a nice smoky taste. The sautéed spinach and mushrooms were good and the fresh bread was delightful. Our server Niemal was a wonderful person and she gave great service. She new the menu and the wines. She gave us a great recommendation for a white wine that had a fruity yet dry aroma. Chateau Ste. Michelle I believe and yes we looked it. The other drinks were mostly juice as you couldn’t taste any alcohol in them which is why I gave 4 stars. It might as well have been off the non-alcoholic drink menu. The atmosphere was nice, the background music, the lighting and the buzz around the restaurant made it an overall great experience for my great niece who had never been to a formal restaurant. She is 17 now and very shy so we’re taking her out to different places to bring out her social side more. She enjoyed herself.

This place is really confusing. I loved the service. My waitress was very nice. The atmosphere was great. But the food was bad. Maybe I ordered something that's less desirable. I was not pleased with the taste or presentation.

We were really disappointed about the service as my friend went to Seattle and had great memories. We sat for 15 min and had to ask for water & for service. The food, cocktails were excellent, meat cooked perfectly. We were eating our dessert when Jessica our waitress just put our bill on the table without even looking at us or asking us if we d like something else. It felt really rude, the room was empty and we felt pushed out. Bottom line: for the price we paid, we deserve better. We will not come back.
