Pros: - Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well - the house cocktail was a nice pairing of bourbon and citrus flavours. Cons: - the shrimp appetiser was underwhelming. The sauce was too sweet. Wrapping things in bacon doesn’t always make it fancy or better - the mashed potatoes were lukewarm when they arrived and lacked seasoning. Pretty bland. - same for the asparagus - had a reservation but they didn’t have a table ready for us when we arrived even though we were right on time

I hadn’t been to this location in some years. The waiter was courtesy and had decent recommendations. Actually, the pictures are his favorite two entrees on the menu. We started with Oysters Rockefeller, which we great! I forgot to take pictures before we ate them. So shells down are what you see. The Prosecco Sangria was tasty. My friend had the Salmon fish with crab. She cleaned her plate! Lol! I had the mixed grill, which includes a crab cake, salmon & crab stuffed shrimp (3). I had a doggy bag, but the food was tasty. For dessert, my friend has the Fruit in a chocolate bag. Very cute and very good. I ended with the Spiked Mocha! Yep, yummy! No complaints, except there’s no real parking around the restaurant, only very competitive street/metered parking. For those traveling public transit. The green & blue line stops are a block away on Lake St. All in all, it was a good experience!
