We have visited other McAlister’s Deli in the past and have had good food and clean facilities. This Orland Park location is not like the others. First, most of the tables were dirty including the floors. When at the counter to order our food there was another person next to us trying to sell her homemade salads to this stores Manager. Apparently she doesn’t know how franchise businesses operate. This sales pitch that went on for a while at the counter was so distracting we couldn’t concentrate on ordering our food and the paying customers had to wait it out. The Manager should have put an end to it, ask her to leave and focus on “customers”. Ordered the Black Angus sandwich. The meat was so fatty you just couldn’t chew it. Not edible and Poor quality meats here. To top it off, an employee working the counter, behind the counter, kept using his bare hands for a deep scrubbing of his apparently itchy scalp and swinging his hair around. Then proceeded back to working the counter servin
This was my first visit, but definitely will not ne my last. I ordered Chicken Salad on a croissant with a side of potato salad. So delicious and fresh. I also ordered a BlackBerry Lemonade which was so refreshing. I was too hungry to think about pictures, but next time I will. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Stopped in for a salad for lunch. The workers were very pleasant and good at their jobs. They had things working very efficiently. And my food was great.
