Marks is truly our go to spot whenever we are visiting Louisville. From the sweet tea to the wings to the mac n cheese to the potato salad to the Oreo banana pudding. I cannot say enough about this place. This is the second location we have visited and the quality of the food was just as good as the first. It is absolutely delicious. The establishment was clean and we had tremendous service. Tony was great! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality meal. You will not regret it!
My entree and cornbread were delicious, but the sides are gross. It's reasonably priced, but the service isn't it. They're nice when they help you, but they're good at ignoring customers. My waitress didn't come by to check on me after I got my food. I had to ask for her after I was basically finished with my food. Edit: Came back again today for lunch. Ordered corn bread and received no butter for 2 rolls. The pie was disgusting. It looked old. It was like it was sitting out in the sun for 2 days. When I went to the bar to pick it up, a good 5 employees walked by without saying anything or acknowledging me. Then, when she gave me her attention, she answered the phone twice while pulling up my order. I just wanted to pay and go. I only get 30 minutes for lunch, and I'm sorry I keep wasting it here. Pretty sure I've got food poisoning from here now.... I won't be returning!
Food was amazing and customer service was great. They greet you with a smile and send you off with a good day. We did order online and picked up at the bar. It was fast and easy. Will be back my daughter is in love with the chicken tenders and fries. Oh but must be the meal because kids meal is different chicken tenders. So don't make the mistake I did an get the kids meal because you will have to go back an get the meal. But it's ok she had left overs so made up for the kids meal being different. Parking: It is on a hill be careful when parking and walking in or out. Also careful exiting traffic can be hard to leave
