Mariposa

Neiman's is nice for a lunch while at the shopping center. Room is bright, which is nice. We had the chicken salad with the orange soufflé. Always a good choice. The chicken salad is always tasty, the soufflé is more of an aspic than soufflé ,but refreshing . The service was so-so. Our server seemed more interested in chatting with another customer , rather than tending to the other diners needs. I understand that perhaps there is a relationship that develops between those that dine at an establishment more frequently than with those that don't dine on the regular, but the overt preferential treatment is frankly rude, and not what is expected at Neiman's. The server also seemed inconvenienced by a request for sweetener for iced tea. As we dined, we noticed that the other tables with different servers from our section received great service, and the gentleman who brought our water was far more attentive and polite than the actual server was to us. Frontenac Plaza needs a better select

We will be back! Delicious and such a nice spot for lunch! The chicken salad is very good. Even the burger and fried! Great hub with social distancing in the restaurant. And there are few outdoor tables too!

I was in town for the weekend and decided to treat myself to a nice lunch. Mariposa did not disappoint! The best part of my experience was the top-notch service I received from my server, Glenn.
