Mario's Restaurant

This was another fun foodie experience, and one that doesn't totally break the bank, but still a little costly. The in-laws and wife were with me on this dining experience, so lots to share on this review. All entrees come with hot fresh sourdough bread ???? and salad ???? and soup (minestrone) ???????? and pasta with meat sauce ????????(I had to force myself to slow down for the entree because I was already getting full). Entrees were: Me - frog legs roadhouse style ???? Sides were green beans and baked potato ???????? Wife - veil oscar ???? (a little sauce heavy) Sides were the same as mine MIL - whitefish ???? Sides were the same as mine FIL - clam linguini and sauce (he inhaled it and talked about how good it was the rest of the day, so ????????) no sides. Our reservation was at 1pm, so this filled us all for the rest of the day. This is a classic old-school and nostalgic dining experience. Our waiter even sang a little for us! We hope to visit again someday soon!

My girls & I went here for the first time and this place was AWESOME and very elegant!!! The ambiance, the staff, and the food 100% an experience! They offer free shuttle to concerts, musicals or plays with your dining experience, such a great incentive! Let’s talk about this food OMG, they serve it in courses and mist menu items have 4. They have live music, so this is perfect for date night, or a girls night out Vegetarian options: They have eggplant parmesan that was so delicious, they also have other items to choose from Parking: They don’t offer free parking, only valet which was $10 Wheelchair accessibility: Floor level so easy access

Wish there were even more stars. This was the best experience ever! From the moment you walk into the atmosphere, it is reminiscent of the past, family heritage, relaxing elegance, and fine dining. The service was supreme (Hector), and there was so much delucious food! I had the steak and my mom had the egg plant parmesan. Parking through valle is nine dollars. We parked on the street after downloading the Detroit parking app ($3). I look forward to going back!
