Marino's Italian Restaurant

My wife and I travel from Colorado Springs to Johnston practically every year. Dinner, at least once, at Marino's is a requirement. Often, we'll order take-out the night before our return trip and chill it in an ice chest, so we can have it for dinner the next day when we get back to Colorado. The only reason they got 5 stars is because there isn't 6.

Incredible Family owned Italian Restaurant. We ordered a Sausage Calzone, Mannicoti, Salad, Breadsticks and Mozzarella Sticks. The Calzone was MASSIVE and absolutely stuffed with cheese (Mozzarella and Ricotta) no wasted space at all, and the seasoning of the Sausage was perfect. The Mannicoti was exceptional, the sauce that they make is a perfect pairing for all of their dishes its incredible! Salad was crisp and had a good amount of Vingarette Dressing, very pleasant. The Mozzarella sticks had a thick but crumbly shell and an oozing center, perfection. All in all, if you have the itch for Italian Food? This is where you need to go!

Our go-to place for homestyle Italian food and the place we take visitors. The owners, John and Ellen, are originally from the East coast so they do pizza right! We've had most of the dishes over the 15 years we've been customers and love them all.
