Flame the Taqueria

The barrio tacos were sublime. Delicious crunch filled with tender meat. Heavenly. Daughter had shrimp tacos - they were great. We were driving through Iowa and looking for good food, what we got was even better. And the chips, queen & salsa are homemade. SO GLAD we found this place. It is just a few minutes off the interstate and worth it. They also have a food truck.

For a small restaurant they offer great food! Had the birria tacos, Torta with asada, and street tacos. Food was delicious. Definitely can’t wait to try more items.

The inside is too small and needs to take out a table to allow room to order if not dining in. The chips, assuming they are a made in house, have a good seasoning but a few seemed stale. The birrias tacos were good, I suggest the corn tacos. Very surprised with how much I enjoyed this place regardless of the looks from the outside/small seating space inside. Rating: 4.1 out of 5.
