I don’t particularly like this restaurant (we’ve had several dismal failures of eating there) but I’ve enjoyed their queso. I ordered a large queso to go and the price not only went up by $2 (ok inflation I get that) but the size was HALF of what I used to get. Like what in the what?? So I’m paying $10 for a few ounces of cheese? Is it laced with gold?? Err nope, I’ll not be back. 3 strikes and you’re out. Bu-bye
Wanted to update my review after 4 years of living in the area. Look, if your town doesn't have that one good mexican/tex-mex restaraunt, then it isn't a town worth living in. This is the place worth going to in the area. Does it have some short comings? ... yes. But you're going to enjoy the vast majority of what's on the menu. The staff is lovely and the atmosphere is pleasant. Its worth coming to and worth giving a good tip!
First time customers and will definitely be back. The enchiladas were outstanding - the tortillas so tender I have to wonder if they are homemade. Mole is hard to find and even harder to perfect...this was the best mole I have had in years! Churros - excellent! So glad you are so close, will definitely order again. 5 Stars
