Marabou Lakay Restaurant and Bar

The food was delicious when I went and they gave you a decent amount of food. However, they advertise a completely different price than what is on their menu. I suggest they update their menus and get someone at the front that can speak English in addition to Creole. I hope they take this advise as I read many others reviews noting the same thing.

I was just there last week. I was charged twice for one meal and I'm still waiting for my bank to reimburse me. Hopefully he didn't do it on purpose but he has lost a customer for good. First time eating Haitian food, and I was very pleased. My coworker and I shared the Mixed Vegetables meal and the Goat Stew. She got white rice, I got rice and beans, and we both got fried plaintains. was surprised to discover the mixed vegetable entree was mostly beef and had a crab perched on top but since neither of us are vegetarian, it did not bother us a bit. It was delicious, as was the goat stew. Both had a bit of spice, but it was flavorful, not overpowering. The slaw was a bit spicy for me, but she LOVED it. We will definitely be back!
