Maple Street Biscuit Company

Just happened to be working in the area and I was due for some lunch. Saw this place on my drive and figured let’s give it a shot. I definitely made the right choice because the food is amazing. Had a biscuit with an egg and gravy and something else I can’t remember what it was But it was delish. Everything on the menu looked really good.The cute girl behind the counter even gave me a free sweet biscuit because it was my first time there. I will be back for more.

Ordered sweet potato fries to go, paid $5 and got 5 fries. Wow $1 per frie. Is this some kind of joke? I won’t change my review till this is refunded.

Our first impression of the service here was a bit questionable, wondering if the person at the register was possibly new and still learning.(Later we were told they aren’t new…) But our lattes didn’t start getting made until about 10 mins after we received our food. Needless to say, we were a bit frustrated. Dee, an employee whom we later found out is the assistant manager, realized that we were trying to see how long our drinks would take and she told us to go get ourselves coffees on the house. She also brought out different syrups to flavor them! Through the rest of our meal, she was incredibly attentive, sociable, and although we didn’t feel upset about the slow service issue any longer, she still profusely apologized for the inconvenience. She took an irritating situation and turned it around with a giant compassionate smile, while also taking care of everyone else upfront. She didn’t skip a beat!
