Here we go. Im all about trying new places...really I am. So Mama Sushi was right up the adventure alley for my palate. Its a fusion of Dominican Republic and Japanese food. My co-worker ate there prior and really liked it. However, NOT this location. So we ordered take-out/delivery for lunch. I had the Mamajuana Roll (Bacalao, cream cheese, yuca fries, avocado, sweet plantains) and the Green Giant Roll ( Baby bok choy, Brussel sprouts, Asparagus, Baby Carrot, Shallots, Garlic). Pics included....Ok. So believe me when I say.....I should've left the whole cream cheese/plantain/cod fish combo A-L-O-N-E! Not for me. Then on top of that there was a little extra plastic that came outta nowhere as I bit down.... pics included. No it wasnt bone. The Green Giant Roll was fine, tasted like a vegetable roll and the Wasabi and ginger gave it flavor. Folks! Not everything that can be placed together should be eaten together! I would likely recommend the mamajuana WITHOUT the cream cheese and plan
