I loved this place! I've been to several Mediterranean restaurants and I always tasted the after taste of Lamb. I didn't grow up eating lamb so I never liked it. I tried their soup with lamb in it and it had no after taste! There are plenty of gluten-free options as well. Great food, service, and great people!
Incredible!!! We have been to this restaurant a few times and every time we absolutely love the food! The workers are so nice and helpful <3. We would drive hours to go back. Absolutely worth trying!
Man, I have seriously been sleeping on this gem of a restaurant in the city. Passed by it a billion times to and from the area, and never thought to stop there, until one day after getting a craving for kibbeh I sought after *anywhere* that served it. My search led me to Makarios, and after taking that first bite I realized how much I'd been betrayed by my own restaurant snobbery ????. (Makarios ain't much to look at, folks, inside or out; but good grief is the food on point.) Everything I ordered was amazing - kibbeh, taboulleh, soup, baklava; zero complaints and zero room for anything else after that meal. The prices at Makarios are reasonable, especially for the quantity of food received, and the service is humble and accommodating. Parking can be a bit of a challenge depending on the degree of busy at the moment, and time of day, but that shouldn't be unusual or unexpected in 5 Pts. There are Al's & plenty of Purple Onions around the city, but there's absolutely room for Makarios a
