I’ve been wanting to try this place for a couple of months and I’m glad we stopped by. We were there for an dinner and service was okay despite them getting hit fairly hard by a rush of Kraken fans heading to the game. Though I would advice them to pace out the courses a bit better as we got the apps and the mains at the same time which was a bit awkward. I had the watermelon juice which was delicious and my dining partner had the mezcal margarita which needed some work with balancing the flavors. Seems to have a lot of promise and will come back - lunch menu looked great and I def wished some of the items had found their way to the dinner menu as well.
After seeing this place mentioned on tv, I had to try it out. It was TOTALLY worth it. The main gentleman working the front shared with me all kinds of info regarding their business practices of sourcing ingredients from small farmers etc and that nothing goes to waste. The tacos I had were beyond incredible and my friend who ate with me assured me that what they served was authentic. Would highly recommend this place
We came for a birthday brunch and tried all the food! The Mexican coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice were delicious..but the highlight was the indigenous ancient pure corn handmade tortillas and superb sauces. We had amazing personalized service and can't wait to come back to try dinner! The only reason I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere is to dont expect fancy seats. It is humble and artfully decorated. Vegetarian options: Chilaquiles can be served with our without eggs. French Toast is vegetarian as well. Parking: Parking garage right next door, and if you come on Sunday, street parking is free.
