Staff was polite and helpful, and the location and space are well done, but for the price, the food is underwhelming. The restaurant is right by the Amazon spheres and the outdoor seating area looks out onto the building and feels super cool and futuristic. A bunch of the tables have fire pit heating in the middle which does a good job of keeping the area warm. We ordered two cocktails, the salmon rillette, curry, and king salmon. Both cocktails just tasted like strawberry lemonade, while they were good, the flavours were simple and not at the level of an average bar in the city. The salmon rillette was a nice concept for a dish, and tasted pretty good. It wasn’t anything special, somewhat like a crossover of tuna salad, and a salmon cream cheese — the mixture wasn’t totally uniform so I had cream cheese chunks in part of it, and the base was rather over salted. The pickled onions on top were amazing! Star of the show. The baguette crisps were just what they sound like — very thin and
A very short walk from the Westin and many other hotels and businesses, this restaurant offers an upscale vibe and great atmosphere. The staff is excellent, especially the bar staff. Options are somewhat limited but there's enough to keep most people happy. Oysters are great and the New York steak (comes with various root vegetables) was as well. While the steak wasn't as tender as more expensive cuts, it was prepared amazingly well! Props to the kitchen. The spirits menu was surprisingly large compared to food. Would recommend and will certainly return.
Great location, at Amazon day one building. Free parking after 4 pm on weekdays and 7 pm on weekends. The dishes were good but not good enough for the price because it seems not cooked when order, it seems like reheated, or bring out late after cooked. But the service here is great and the patio seating is relaxing. Great place for friends gathering.
