Great place for lunch, very inexpensive, quick service, and delicious food. What is not to love? The Sampler Platter was delicious with large cubes of feta cheese, olives, onion, cucumber, and oil and seasoning, served with warm pita bread. The Double Italian is even more delicious with mounds of cut deli meats and a pressed crusty roll. The photos do not do it justice.

Hey the writing on the Awning out front says it all..."Finest sandwich shop in town". My 1st time there, Friday for lunch with my Fiance, Brother and Sister in law..its Great, our server was Awesome. I mentioned that I needed a bottomless drink and she did not disappoint! The Italian was great, Slaw was creamy good, the Prairie sandwich was Fantastic, Greek salad was fresh! Gentleman at the door when we entered and when we cashed out was very accomadating. It's been there since 1958 and I'm sure was great then and still is today! I will be back!

It's hard to find a nice assortment of soups. This place has them.. and every one of them is delicious too. Great sandwiches.. tons to choose from. An old Sarasota staple. I recommend a visit
