Another great restaurant right in the heart of downtown Greenville. The steak, sea bass and risotto all tasted delicious. Never had a place serve me everything off a butcher block, so that was different and interesting. Service and cocktails were good, too. It wasn’t very busy when we went, so it felt quiet and quaint…even more so because it’s hidden behind Nose Dive. It was nice to relax, enjoy a nice meal and have a full belly leaving!????????
We were there with a group of about 20 for a birthday dinner. The waiters were very prompt and attentive for such a large group. Our drinks were served quickly and the food was served fairly quickly. The issues I had were that a lot of the drinks were filled to the rim, so the waiters spilled them as they sat them down. Also, the food had lots of “grease” or butter on the plates and one waiter spilled that on one of the guests. They offered free dry cleaning but it was a white shirt that I am sure was ruined. My lamb was seasoned perfectly but was over cooked. My boyfriend loved his steak but his “sautéed spinach” was more like spinach salad. I probably would give them another try in the future though. There were good things about last night and there were off things about it too. I took pics of videos last night showing off our food.
Huge complaints...a bit hard to find the entrance & the font on the menu was small. That is it! Seriously, we were immediately seated, although 15 mins late for our reservation. The staff were friendly & attentive & the decor was fresh & inviting. Independently & locally owned, we went for a New Year's late lunch date, & it was so worth it! From the charcuterie board to the entrees to the creme brulee, the food was AMAZING! Super well priced for this French-inspired cuisine with a bit of southern flair. A chef not afraid to properly spice the perfectly cooked food. Def my new, local fav. Parked in the Poinsett Garage, & it was a very short walk, which we needed, as my husband's recovering from his knee replacement. We'll be back soon to enjoy the broader selection offered at dinner! HIGHLY recommend!
