My first time having Mole / Oaxacan food. The mole is definitely an acquired taste... But it was all good. Queso Fundido is a delicious cheesy mess.
A great choice for authentic Oaxacan-Mexican cantina food, with tacos, moles & chili with beer and a wine options. We had 4 Madre’s Enchiladas – an impressive presentation featuring chicken and beef with multiple Mole sauces on the side ($6.50 each = $26). Salsa Macha and Guacamole ($17) were stand-out side servings.
I had the pleasure of having lunch at this Mexican restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. We chose to sit outside on the terrace with my friends and it was very pleasant. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the ambiance felt tropical with high top tables and lush plants. The service was top-notch as the staff was kind and reactive. While I can't speak for all the specialties on the menu as a vegetarian, I thoroughly enjoyed the salad I ordered. It was fresh, generously portioned, and paired perfectly with a refreshing iced tea.
