Mac's was a really good place to get a classic smash burger. There was a wait but nothing terrible it was lunchtime on the weekend ☺️. The meat was fresh and juicy, and the bun was fluffy. The burger I had was the Captain, 4 patties with 4 slices of cheese. I elected to pass on onion and pickle. The burger was a great mix of all the flavors without any one overpowering the others. This is what I imagine a classic burger would taste like. I also had the RIP fries. They were crispy and seasoned with a spice that reminded me of a good BBQ potato chip. Interesting combo and very good. The wife has the half and half. One pork patty and one beef patty with cheese. This too was nice and juicy and great flavor. She paired this with the plain fries that were crispy and delicious as well. We enjoyed Mac's and if in the neighborhood we will go again.
Excellent experience. Burger was a perfect smash burger - juicy, cheesy, and just a bit of crisp. Get the rip fries. Bacon onion dip is worth the price. And that gooey muffin was delightful. The team was kind and service was quick.
Great burger place make smashed burgers, and trying to source as much as possible from local sources. The fries are good, and they also have the option of fries with Old Vienna red hot ripplin seasoning, Old Vienna another local brand. Same with their soda options, they serve Excel drinks our of their fountain. One small corner of the place has a small selection of local goods for sale, too. Parking: Lot shared with attached hotel
