Lumberyard

First and last time diner. The fish and chips had a weird taste in the batter and the fish was rubbery. The meatloaf was not tasty at all! It taste like someone poured liquid smoke on it and wrapped it in bacon. The chicken was blan and the mashed potatoes tast like they came from a box. The beef stroganoff was decent; however, we were not asked how we wanted the meat cooked. It was returned twice to cook the meat. The waiter went on a break without letting us know. Overall...food was over priced for the taste of the meal. Metered parking on the street for a maximum of three hours and a parking structure further down the street. Parking: Metered parking on the streets.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! I got the half pound Angus burger and the burger was so flavorful and just a perfect texture no blood no nothing was great! The waiter and waitress that severed us were super friendly and helpful. This was the first time the whole family was happy with the food. Thank you lumberyard for an amazing birthday dinner. One of our favorite 'goto' places in all of Laguna. Great menu, great food and always so consistent. We have had many celebratory dinners and business lunches here. Also, great for late night dessert and live music. Not to mention that the owner/operator is one of THE most generous and charitable people you will ever meet. We love the Lumberyard!
